Privacy policy

1. Introduction

This privacy policy informs visitors about the nature, scope and purpose of personal data processing by the provider. Blitzweb.net is an information and contact website for web development, backend development, server setup and technical support. This website currently provides no user accounts, upload functions or newsletter.

2. Controller

The controller under the GDPR is the provider named in the legal notice above.

3. Data processed

The following categories of data may be processed:

  • Server logs: IP address, access time, requested files, transferred volume, browser and system information and technical status messages.
  • Contact form data: name, company or project, email address, phone number, website or domain, topic, system information, problem type, urgency, preferred next step, message, consent confirmation and technical metadata such as time, referrer, browser information and a shortened checksum of the IP address.
  • Communication data that you voluntarily provide by email, contact form or another agreed channel.
  • Campaign data, including UTM parameters or advertising click identifiers transmitted in the visited URL. When you submit an inquiry, relevant parameters from that URL or referrer may be stored locally with the inquiry to identify the campaign that generated it.
  • Local usage statistics: section views, internal link clicks, broad time-on-page buckets, contact-form focus, submit-button clicks, browser validation errors and submit attempts. No form values or free text, cookies, local storage, session storage, external analytics providers or raw IP addresses are stored in these statistics. A random page-view identifier exists only in browser memory for that page view and is stored server-side with the related events.
  • Order and billing data required for inquiries, quotations, contracts and statutory retention duties.

This website uses no Google Analytics, Google Tag, Meta Pixel, remarketing script or analytics cookie for its local campaign and usage statistics.

Inquiries submitted through Meta instant forms

If you submit a Blitzweb.net instant form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta processes the information entered and transfers the contact details, website address, problem description and form-related submission data you release to Blitzweb.net. We use it solely to handle that inquiry and necessary pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. It does not subscribe you to a newsletter, Custom Audience or remarketing activity. The Meta Privacy Policy additionally applies to processing within Meta services.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • Website provision and technical operation; abuse prevention, troubleshooting and security: legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Handling inquiries and taking pre-contractual steps: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Basic campaign attribution and improvement of website content and contact flow using data-minimising first-party statistics: legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Contract performance, billing and legal obligations: Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.

5. Storage duration

Data is retained only as long as required for technical security, the inquiry, a possible business relationship or statutory duties. Local usage statistics are used only to improve the website and are not combined into personal visitor profiles.

6. Disclosure

Personal data is disclosed only where required for operation, maintenance, security, a concrete assignment or a legal duty, including to technical providers, contractual partners, tax advisers or authorities as applicable. Locally stored contact-form or campaign data is not currently sent to advertising providers such as Google without a separate legal basis or consent.

7. Data security

Technical and organisational measures include HTTPS transmission, access restrictions, maintenance and appropriate backups.

8. Your rights

Under Articles 15–22 GDPR, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Requests can be sent to the email address in the legal notice. Complaints may be addressed to the Austrian Data Protection Authority at dsb.gv.at.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated when legal, technical or organisational circumstances change.
